To our Bloomfield location from the North

From Interstate 79, take 279 South toward Pittsburgh. Take 279 South to Route 28 North (Pittsburgh). Follow Route 28 North to the 40th Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on 40th Street to Liberty Avenue, and turn left. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is located on the left side of Liberty Avenue at South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield. Parking is available in the South Millvale Avenue Parking Complex (which is connected to the hospital by a bridge).

To our Bloomfield location from the South

Take Route 51 North or Route 19 North through the Liberty Tunnels. Cross over the Liberty Bridge, staying in the right or middle lane. Follow signs for 579 North and Mellon Arena until you reach the Bigelow Blvd. exit only sign. Follow Bigelow Blvd. (right lane) to the Liberty Avenue/Bloomfield exit. Cross the Bloomfield Bridge and bear right onto Liberty Avenue. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is located on the left side of Liberty Avenue at South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield. Parking is available in the South Millvale Avenue Parking Complex (which is connected to the hospital by a bridge).

To our Bloomfield location from the East

Take the Parkway inbound to Pittsburgh (Route 376 West) to the Wilkinsburg Exit. Follow Penn Avenue to Fifth Avenue. Turn left onto Fifth Avenue and follow to South Aiken Avenue. Turn right onto South Aiken Avenue and continue to Centre Avenue, then bear left onto Liberty Avenue. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is located on the right side of Liberty Avenue at South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield. Parking is available in the South Millvale Avenue Parking Complex (which is connected to the hospital by a bridge).

To our Bloomfield location from the Northeast

Take Route 28 South to the 40th Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue onto 40th Street to Liberty Avenue. Turn left onto Liberty Avenue. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is located on the left side of Liberty Avenue at South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield. Parking is available in the South Millvale Avenue Parking Complex (which is connected to the hospital by a bridge).

To our Bloomfield location from the West and the Pittsburgh International Airport

Follow the Parkway West (279 North) through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and take the Liberty Avenue exit. Stay on Liberty Avenue through downtown Pittsburgh until you reach Bloomfield. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is located on the left side of Liberty Avenue at South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield. Parking is available in the South Millvale Avenue Parking Complex (which is connected to the hospital by a bridge).

To our Monroeville location from the Pennsylvania Turnpike

Take Exit 57, Pittsburgh. Once through the toll gate, follow the ramp on your left to Monroeville. Go to the first light and turn left onto Rt. 48 South, Mosside Boulevard. Get into the left lane and follow Route 48 South for approximately 1 mile through four traffic lights. Take the far left lane leading onto Haymaker Road (5th traffic light) and at the 6th traffic light turn left onto McGinley Road. The hospital's main entrance will be on your left. Once through the main entrance, turn left onto the circle drive, park in the Visitor's Lot and enter POB I to the right of the hospital's main entrance.

To our Monroeville location from Pittsburgh

Take Parkway East (I-376 East) towards Monroeville. Take Exit 14A to Route 48 South. Get into the left lane and follow Route 48 South for approximately 1 mile through four traffic lights. Take the far left lane leading onto Haymaker Road (5th traffic light) and at the 6th traffic light turn left onto McGinley Road. The hospital's main entrance will be on your left. Once through the main entrance, turn left onto the circle drive, park in the Visitor's Lot and enter POB I to the right of the hospital's main entrance.

To our Monroeville location from McKeesport

Take Rt. 48N towards Monroeville crossing Routes 30 and 130. Proceed to the 'Y' intersection of Haymaker Road and Rt. 48. Turn right just before the traffic signal at this intersection onto Haymaker Road. Proceed to the 1st traffic light and turn left onto McGinley Road. The hospital's main entrance will be on your left. Once through the main entrance, turn left onto the circle drive, park in the Visitor's Lot and enter POB I to the right of the hospital's main entrance.

To our Monroeville location from Murrysville and East

Take Rt. 22 West to Monroeville. Turn left onto Rt. 48 South, Mosside Boulevard. Get into the left lane and follow Route 48 South for approximately 1 mile through four traffic lights. When leaving the airport, follow signs to Pittsburgh and go through the Fort Pitt Tunnel (stay in the right lane). Once through the tunnel, take the Monroeville/376 East exit.
